Maval area near Talegaon is really a place to explore. Just 75km from Kothrud, and you will feel that you are totally in different village. This cannot be Pune.
The road i took today is the one that takes you to the Thokarwadi Dam. A not-no-known place few years before came into light by the riders bikes & cyclist. Though it is still not heavily crowded.
Visit here in Monsoon, and the place is totally different,
For a biker, this place is awesome. Lot many curves, slopes and descends. Road condition is also good. The panorama looks astonishing. Hills flaunting the huge windmills adds to the beauty.
In the days when I had thunderbird-350, i was insisting my wife to learn to ride it. But she simply refused it as it was too heavy. She was not even ready to pose for a pic on bike.
But today-was-the day. Finally she agreed to give it a try and managed to ride it for few meters. Not a bad start is what i thought :-)
We had started late in the morning and sun was shining bright. It was hot. Besides there was no point to go to Dam as the water levels will be definitely low.
With a note-to-myself to return to this place again in Monsoon, we turned back
