Hampi, some YouTube video showed me glimpses of it 4 or 5 years back and since then I had been planning to visit there. Jinxed, you may call it, but every time i had planned, it got cancelled.
Probably 2021 is the year that was destined for my dream to come true to visit Hampi.
A city of ruins, a land of wanderlust what may be the name it holds, but it have its own vibe. The landscapes, the larger than life boulders, the paddy fields, beautiful tungabhadra river, huge ruins of temples and palaces that let your imagination run wild to think of the royal life this capital of Vijayanagara empires lived off.
The mythological stories associated with Hampi are fascinating.
I was so happy to see tones of opportunities to click pics, eventually got shattered. It’s impossible to capture that scale into camera. The justice won’t be served to how beautiful and magnificent Hampi is.
Next couple of days, I will keep posting few pics I clicked in Hampi. Hope you will like it.
As i read a slogan on one of the T-shirt there which reads.. “Don’t worry, be Hampi”
